Tim A Duncan

Tim A Duncan is a composer, conductor and sound engineer. He's best known for his work around the world on award-winning major ice dance shows: Cinderella, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Peter Pan, The Phantom of the Opera, Barnum and Nutcracker. As a child in Manchester, he played the horn in the Middleton Band and Bessie's o'the' Barn; he went on to study  theory and composition at the Royal College of Music and has worked as a sound engineer at studios including Abbey Road, Strawberry Studios and MosFilm Studio in Moscow. His work crosses many genres, including: pop, rock, classical and musical theatre. I wanted to learn how about his journey from horn player to world-leading creator of ice dance spectaculars.
